Scene cardholders can now get points on combo purchases at the concession! I just got an email from Scene and they have started offering 75-150 points per combo purchased at the concession. And don’t worry, you still get your 10% off as well! With all the summer blockbuster movies that are coming out in the next couple of months I’m sure to start racking up the points quickly. Are these cards good in Nova Scotia?
@Rebecca – I believe they are valid at any Cineplex theatre location.. so if you have Cineplex theatres in Nova Scotia then I would assume they are valid!
I just learned that the scene card cannot be shared.
It is only valid for one movie at one time.(but can be used 2 times if watching 2 movies in a day one after another)
If you do use the card through multiple transactions for the same movie, all your points may be wiped out.
Quotations from Scene.ca loyalty program terms and conditions:
“Scene LP or a Sponsor may refuse to record or honour SCENE Points in your Account, or if already recorded, may cancel such Points, if Scene LP cannot confirm that the Points were properly issued or obtained”
“Any assignment or transfer in violation of these rules will be void and may, at the sole discretion of Scene LP, result in the loss of membership or the cancellation of the affected Points or Account”
I recommend getting multiple cards for each friend/family and keeping them together since they are able to scan multiple cards in one transaction when buying tickets.
Thanks pbrandonsp, I admit that I am guilty of slipping my card to my wife to use for the same movie when we go and we’ve been getting 2x points on the same card. I wouldn’t want to see my points wiped out, that’s for sure.
Does anyone know if this applies to Shopper’s Optimum/Air Miles as well? I slip my card to friends as well.
