Coach Canada is having a 25% off sale from May 1st – 10th, 2009 at all Coach boutiques in Canada to celebrate Mothers Day. However to get the discount you need an invitation card which was only sent to select customers who had previously spent over a certain amount at Coach stores.
I thought I’d start this post to allow you guys to exchange invitations. Say you have a Coach invitation that you don’t need, you can offer to give it away in exchange for say a $10 or $15 Shoppers Drug Mart gift card or whatever value you choose. If you’re looking for an invitation you can find an offer you like and accept it. Use the comments system to communicate.
To make sure the trades go smoothly I can act as the middle man. The invitation and whatever the other party agreed to send in return can both be sent to Smart Canucks mailing address. Once I have both items, I’d then mail them out. I’m just trying to help and this is the best idea I could come up with.

Just a word of advice, I have tried this before and couldn’t use it because they are non-transferrable. The only way I was able to use it is by having the postal code of the person who gave it to me. This has happened to me at both the Oakridge Centre location and the Burrard Street location in Vancouver. May not be everywhere that they do this though.

I have had the same problem as well, I bought a Carly and a wallet, well over $500 and wasn’t able to use the card unless the person who was sent the card was with me. I ended up buying it without the card and started receiving my own PCE cards so it all worked out in the end. This has happened with lots of people that I know, but as the other woman said, some places may not make an issue of it and some do.
Jakie, did it have the person’s name on the card?
On the coupon I have, there is no name listed nor a personalized code…..it is printed on heavy glossy cardstock so it would be pretty hard to duplicate….I really cant see why it would be a problem if someone else used it, or how Coach would even know!?
The cards don’t have names on them, the code under the barcode on the back is associated with different postal codes, at least thats what the manager at the Edmonton store told me. I am not saying its not going to work for everyone but MAY not work depending on where you are. I don’t get why they would care either, if the person receiving the card wants to pass it on to someone else. Spread the love of Coach 🙂

They did get it for free, but it’s because they puchased something. The coupon has value, and since it does, those who are willing to part with the coupon deserve to be compensated. If your buying a 400 – 600$ purse. sorry but it’s worth trading for.

My sisters fiancee actually bought her a purse in december and when asked for the postal code name.. i gave his.. and even though he hadn’t gotten an invite, i assume because his name was in system because he had made a purchase, i had no issues 🙂
