Congratulatory Letter from the Prime Minister on Significant Birthdays & Wedding Anniversaries

Other / Canada

It’ll be more than 25 years before I could get a letter but I’m not that eager. Would’ve been more valuable had it been from the Queen.

Actually, on a second thought, this could be a very nice gift to your parents or grandparents on their wedding anniversary or birthday.

On request, the Prime Minister sends congratulatory letters and certificates to Canadians celebrating significant birthdays or wedding anniversaries.

Congratulatory letters are available for:

25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, and 45th wedding anniversaries
65th and 70th birthdays

Congratulatory certificates are available for:

50th wedding anniversaries and up
75th birthdays and up

You can send your request one of three ways :

1. Online by filling out and submitting either a

Birthday Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister Form

or a

Wedding Anniversary Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister Form

2. Filling out and Faxing a Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister PDF form (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader),

3. By contacting:

Coordinator
Congratulatory Message
Room 105 – Langevin Block
Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0A2
Fax: (613) 941-6901
Email: [email protected]

To ensure on-time delivery, we ask that you submit your request at least three weeks before the event date.
