I was enjoying a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard on Sunday when I noticed that if you join the Dairy Queen Blizzard Fan Club you can get 6 coupons for Buy 1 Get 1 Free Blizzard per year.
This does sign you up for their newsletter but certainly that’s what hotmail accounts are for: email deals without consequences.
You can sign up at their website at the bottom of the main page, click here.
I hope they keep this up. I joined their club 10 years ago and they used to send me a coupon for a freebee on my birthday. Then it became a BOGO on my birthday then zilch.
About 3 years ago I joined the club and used a freebee Blizzard coupon at the location in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, B.C. and the manager/owner gave me a hard time. Demanded to know where/how I got the coupon, said that it’s a loss to his business b/c it comes out of his own pocket and he didn’t get reimbursed for it. Agree with RonNasty above too, the deals drop off pretty quick.
I have gotten these coupons for a while now (2+ years); I have always gotten offers for 6 per year. I like the occasional ice cream, but sometimes don’t use all 6 coupons. It appears, though, that as long as I keep printing coupons, they keep sending me more! My big problem is that there are only one or two flavours that don’t have any chocolate in them (I’m allergic).
Each location has their own rules, best to call..first
I got a coupon in my e-mail for a free Blizzard today for my birthday!
Casey,
You should alert head office to this. When someone buys a franchise they agree to head office promotions. Every once in awhile you run into a grumbling franchisee that thinks head office is taking advantage of them. They signed the contract and head office needs to know they aren’t honouring it.
PS, my page is only showing a B6 Blizzards G1 for joining the fan club. I don’t have that many in 5 years. Sob, sob, sniff, sniff! 😉
I joined up a couple years ago. They offer a B1G1 once every couple months in their newsletter.
Ooops, my error.
It’s get 6 BOGOs.
Thanks.

I have been getting this for about a year. the only thing is that once you print it you only have about 2 weeks to redeem. sometimes you get a coupon for a few dollars off an ice cream cake.
I signed up just now but where do I go for the coupons? Does anyone know, thanks.
They’ll come in an email.
I signed up earlier this week as I was on their site trying to find the cost of their ice-cream-cakes (Basking Robbins is not so secretive and they put the price down on their website).
I am glad to see that I am not the only one keeping my hotmail for all my promo newsletters and my other e-mail for family etc.
I love the Reese Peanut Butter blizzards as well. It’s really the only blizzard that I don’t end up disappointed with when I eat it. The others just seem to never meet my expectations but I am a sucker for trying new flavours.
Been a member of the club for several years and the B1G1 coupons just keep on coming!
The Reese are the best. They USED to have Reese’s Pieces as well, I am talking around 1994, and then it faded away. I sure miss that one.
I was getting these and the Queensway location in Etobicoke never accepted them. Into the delete bin they went, useless. Haven’t been to a Dairy Queen in years because of the hassle from the Queensway location.
The Queensway location does not accept them? Is it because they advertise in the Best of Etobicoke magazine and put coupons in there? They always have a $3 off coupon for cake that I look out for.
Just wasted my ink. Printed out something that said coupon has been printed maximum number of times.
