Dairy Queen DQ Canada: Buy 1 Blizzard Treat Get 1 Free

Blizzard Ice Cream

Bill gets the free Blizzard

This offer has been around since 2006 but I like reminding my readers of it every summer 😀

Why? Because I’m evil and trying to get them to gain weight. Because Blizzards are one of God’s Mankind’s best inventions! Mmmmm! Join Dairy Queen’s Blizzard Fan Club and get 2 Blizzard treats for the price of 1. You’ll get a printable coupon in your email for this 2 for 1 deal twice:

  • When you first sign-up
  • Every year on your birthday

I probably shouldn’t be saying this since I know some of the folks at the Dairy Queen Canada headquarters read my blog but I have to admit I’ve signed up for the Dairy Queen Canada Fan Club several times more than I should have. I just couldn’t resist a 2 for 1 deal on one of my favourite treats 😉

That being said, I’d like to remind you guys that Blizzards are very high in calories, fats and cholesterol. A medium size Brownie Batter Blizzard for instance has:

Dairy Queen Canada Blizzards

Yep, that’s unfortunately very unhealthy and that’s only a medium Blizzard.  Thank goodness for gyms, yoga and bootcamps. The 2 for 1 deal is still awesome as long as you don’t eat both blizzards by yourself 😉

I believe it’s only NEW signup gets this coupon
Existing members will not receive it anymore (I have not seen it for 2 years)

Keep in mind, their coupon is one-use only, so when you click on the email, opens a new window, SAVE A COPY or PRINT IT OUT
because next time you go back to the email & click, it’d say coupon is used already. I had to learn the hard way

Thanks Jerry for the tips 😀

Does that seriously say 45g of fat for a medium? Oh Good Lord! I don’t think that I can ever touch another Blizzard without feeling sick! That’s so sad that I now know the truth! I’m going to miss that wonderful treat!

  4. Jonathan says:

That’s it! I’m not eating these anymore. I’d have to run like a demon to burn off almost 1000 calories!

  5. BHLombardy says:

Great… youngmom and Jonathan… forward me your coupons! 🙂

for those suffering from one-use ecoupon syndrome…

Those that force you to print it once, anyway…

If you have the FULL version of Adobe Acrobat installed, you can “print” it to a PDF file – which essentially saves it to your computer. You can print it as many times as you like. 🙂

If you dont have Adobe Acrobat, then google CutePDF. It’s the same idea with a free version that lets you print to PDF files as well.

    Cheers

  8. Skinny B says:

If you eat this as the only meal of the day, it’s perfectly fine 🙂 INDULGE. you only live once (and what’s a better way to die than from eating delicious, delicious Blizzards?)

For those who believe they can recycle their coupon by printing it out numerous times….your mistaken! The coupon I just printed out not only has my full name on it but also a SKU number of which allowing members to use that one coupon just the once.

    Enjoy your Blizzard!

Just so you guys all know, Brownie Batter is FAR AND WIDE the worst blizzard… if you get something like Oreo or Skor, you’ll drop about 300 calories and LOTS of fat from the intake. Dairy Queen Ice Cream IS 97.9% Fat FREE!

  12. Megan says:

this is only for americans. it says in the fine print 🙁

  13. Sally says:

No Megan, It’s for Canadians too, in fact…. I just used my sons bday one tonight. You even have to select what location your going to use it for….
