Danier Leather’s annual customer appreciation sale starts tomorrow. Save 25% off the lowest ticketed price until November 4th. It is not clear if you need this coupon or not tomorrow, it says open to the public but they required a coupon last year.

Yesterday I checked out the stuff on their website and decided to get a pair of gloves that were on sale. So today, Nov 2, I went to the store with the coupon (actually they have signs all over the store advertising this 25% off and I don’t think a coupon is necessary) and tried to buy the gloves with the extra 25% discount. The gloves scanned at regular price before the extra 25% discount. I was confused, I didn’t get them but went home to check their website again – they did go back to regular price.
So what’s the point for this Customer Appreciation Days? Just to lure the customers into the stores? Lots of sale items went back to regular price when they’re offering this 25% customer appreciation discount – it’s not even worthy, as the original sale price was like 35% off.
