Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the Christmas Light 50 Miniature Straight Line Indoor Light Set may pose an overheating and fire hazard. Neither Health Canada nor Dollarama has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products. Approximately 338,000 light sets were sold in Canada.
The second light set is:
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the Halloween 25 Miniature Straight Line Outdoor Light Set may pose an electric shock hazard. Neither Health Canada nor Dollarama has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
What you should do:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled seasonal lights and return them to the store to obtain a refund.
