   Hey! I used to watch that when I was a kid. 😀

   I thought it was stupid then. I think it’s stupid now. I never put random crap in my mouth as a kid.

   The grand kiddies just loved it. Amy allways picking something up and putting it in her mouth. And how do you tell a wee one who has just dropped all there candy on the floor! to throw it away ?

    … hmm I grew up in the eighties -early nineties and I have NO recollection of this commercial… I think this would have frightened me more than anything hahaha kinda creepy
    and yeah, ya gotta love that random beet on a stick lmao!

    My sister and I STILL sing this song today! lmao of course now that we’re both adults we realized just how dirty the lyrics are….its still funny though!!! I love this one and Gert & Bert from “stay alert, stay safe”….man childhood rocked when we were kids lolz

    Hahaha you all have such dirty minds!!! I do remember this also from my childhood…but I was old enough when it came out that I didn’t put random stuff in my mouth lol. Too bad my 16 month old son wouldn’t understand this because he does this a lot!!

    tattoodprincess – if you wanna talk dirty, when I was in high school drama class we had to do a radio commercial and me and my friends did a condom commercial to the tune of “stay alert, stay safe”!!! Ah good times rofl!

    My favourite is also the beet. Does anyone remember whether the two fuzzy blue kids were the mascot of some tissue/Kleenex company? I remember when I was small I saw them on the box of tissues.

    Also, anyone else remember “Astar” the robot/android flying through all those saws and stuff. Scary.

    Heck yeah I remember that robot guy flying through the gears. I was always thought he was a mechanical Spiderman.

    Does anyone remember the series of safety cartoons where these two kids had little satellites on their watches that would warn them of danger? I remember thinking “I would let that strange man into my house if he had a cool watch like that!”

    Oh the mind of a 6 year old (sigh).

    I don’t remember this, kind of scary.. when I saw the caption I thought you were talking about the song made by the rapper Akinyele back in the day, but im glad this was a bit more PG.
