Has anyone been slapped with nasty duty fees for ordering more than 20$ from ELF?
I want to order a ton of stuff from ELF, but Ive read horror stories online about people getting duty bills months after they placed their order, insane amounts.
Or maybe i can just do multiple orders of 20$ ? advice needed ! thanks

I’ve ordered well over $100 in the past and never got charged duty etc. I just did an order for $64.50, used my paypal and got charged the $8 shipping… so I don’t think that is working properly!
I ended up paying $8 shipping to Canada as well.
It’s better than the $14.95 it regularly costs, but whoever posts these deals should really know the “trick” works 100% before hitting publish!
I also got charged for shipping. For some reason, i think as soon as you connect to PAYPAL, elf recognizes your email with their database and immediately process the shipping. Maybe if the email used in paypal and elf were different, it could probably work.
I`ve ordered from ELF once before, and it was a 75$ order, didnt pay any taxes or duty. But now i noticed they really make sure you read that ELF will charge you 5$ for duty + taxes upon delivery. Now i just have to see if Fedex will ask me pay for the goods when they come to deliver it at my house…
