Do you still have lots of pennies lying around or loose change you have been saving for the holidays?  Cash your change in at a CoinStar machine at Food Basics and with your redemption voucher, you will also get a coupon for $10 off your next shop.  The minimum spend required is $10 to use the coupon so if you shop carefully, you can get items with nothing out of pocket.

Coinstar does charge a fee, for your $40 you get $35.24 back as your actual redemption voucher, so your $10 coupon is really worth $5.24 – but it is still a bonus to spend and Food Basics has decent prices.

The redemption voucher can be cashed in at the store’s checkout for cash but the gift coupon must be used by December 2nd.  If it is like their similar summer promotion, you will not get change from the $10 coupon and it can not be used multiple times to use up the balance.  Sadly, you cannot buy a gift card with the coupon (nor lottery, prescriptions, cigarettes/tobacco products, money orders/transfer, postage stamps, tokens, transit passes if available).
