Food Basics Canada: 10% Off + Now Offering Rainchecks

Announcements

Food-Basics-0613

Here is another reason to shop at Food Basics! Food Basics has a great new policy, they are now offering rainchecks if an advertised flyer item is not in stock. To boot, they will also give you 10% off of the advertised price for next time you visit. Don’t worry about Food Basics running out of stock any longer! Choose your needed items from their weekly flyer and shop for your needed items with no worries – if they don’t have it in stock this time, they will hold it for you next time and give you 10% off the price. Sounds great to me! Find the nearest Food Basics here.

Yeah right…I was at a Toronto Food Basics TODAY for their 0.99$ chocolate milk…it was sold out monday, and on return trip they have about 20 left above a big sign saying “STRICT limit of 2 per customer!”
what a scam…what kind of grocery store can’t even keep milk in stock???

In my experience this kind of ‘corporate policy’ never works as the store manager always has the final decision and complaints to head office are met with silence. Thanks but I’ll stick to price-checking at wal-mart.

Keep in mind they don’t price match, they are missing out on a lot of customers for that reason alone. I have a food basics within walking distance from my house, yet I will drive to Walmart, nofrills, or the superstore because they price match.

Never mind…I see that they are also nod price matching as well, my bad. But I MO they should have jumped on that long ago.

Only price matching in London, Ontario right now I think

I was there a couple of weeks ago and wanted an item on sale and was in the middle of making a rather large recipe. It wasn’t on the shelf so I asked if they had any in the back. Only to hear a couple of floor staff say they had it, but it wasn’t scheduled to be put out until the next day, so no they had none. I can’t believe this store! I drive 30 minutes just to get a good, fresh grocery store.

Also note their strict 1 limit policy per household, per sale item, per week.
