If you live near a Fortinos store, starting tomorrow they will have Primo pasta for just $0.59 – no coupon needed. While this pasta often goes on sale for $0.99 and occasionally $0.88 it is rare to see it this low in price.
Walmart doesn’t carry this brand for price-matching, but if you live in the GTA or are lucky enough to have one of the Loblaws banner stores that will price-match any Loblaws sister store you may be able to pick it up for the same price.
Check out the full Fortinos flyer here.
Note the size of the pasta is 450g down from the former 900g size.
That is why it’s $0.59 cents. If anyone had kept track on how they are shrinking products over the course of the past (20) years you would have noticed a drastic decrease in how much you get today; but of course the prices remain the same or increase. Although the past few years this as they call it “Shrink-Flation” is increasing quite rapidly, and a sale is as some of you know is hardly a sale today.
Grocery chains are producing weekly flyers but rarely do I find anything good in them, they just want you to come in and spend, and spend on any price.
