I bought the five products, and mailed the UPC codes and my original receipt as requited. That was in late September. Three months later, I have NOT received my store card, nor have I heard from the company. I am thoroughly ticked off and now I can’t find their web site either. Is this just a rip-off? Is this “Trusted Brands” the same thing as the curvey company run by Reader’s Digest?
Theres been lots of discussion about this one on some other forums…
It is a legit rebate, but the company issuing the rebates is apparently quite behind. It seems that some retailer GC’s are coming out before others. People are just starting to get September submissions back.
I don’t know if it will help any, but the company in charge of issuing the GC’s is
Harling Marketing Inc.
6611 Innovator Drive
Missassauga, Ontario
L5T 2J3
No telephone # on correspondence or I would pass it along as well.
(I’ve gotten 3x SDM GC’s back so far!)
Thanks for your reply. Actually, I didn’t even remember writing to you, (OK, I’m a senior!) and when I entered “trusted brands” I got some info on a Reader’s Digest survey company.
London Drugs (local store) didn’t seem to have anyone who even remembered the promotion. I’ll try to be patient, but as a former marketer, I know that the companies count on only a portion of the UPCs being redeemed at all, and many people just forget about them altogether once they’ve been mailed. Always a good idea to take a photocopy of everything you send, with dates etc. for verification later if necessary.
