You can attend the Bloor – Yorkville Ninth Annual IceFest for absolutely FREE! The Ninth Annual Icefest takes place on February 22nd and February 23rd, 2014 and is located at the Village of Yorkville Park.
You can celebrate the winter in the city! This year’s festival will feature:
- Majestic Ice Sculptures
- Ice Carving Competition
- Shop with Heart
From 12PM to 5PM on Saturday February 22nd and Sunday February 23rd you can go view their very own “Heat Wave” ice display which brings the Tropics to Toronto in winter, in ice!
February is also Heart Month and the Bloor-Yorkville IceFest is supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation. For a small donation of $2, visitors can sample the famous “Maple Syrup Taffy” from 1PM through to 4PM each day. They will also be handing out “Iced Kiddie Cubes” with a collectible toy inside at 2PM each day for a $2 donation.
This Ninth Annual Bloor-Yorkville IceFest in Toronto is an all ages family, friendly, FREE event. All you will have to bring with you is warm clothes and a hearty winter spirit (perhaps a camera to capture these memorable ice sculptures forever)
