I hate facebook only offers. Just because I don’t want to sign up for a social site, I feel less valued as a consumer because the same offers aren’t available for non facebook users…

  2. TC says:

I entered my “beauty secret” and the “app” wants to access my public profile, friends emails, photos and so on, before it will let me continue. I don’t want things popping up on my friend’s FB list unannounced. I’m sad to miss the freebies, but that’s too invasive. 🙁

    • FallenPixels says:

TC, a lot of freebie hunters have a secondary account ~cough did I say that out loud~

I love facebook offers, and am not concerned at privacy, yet.I have found nothing to worry about..

  4. Christine Stever says:

My beauty secret is having balance in one’s life. Proper diet, exercise and rest is important. Also taking time to ‘smell the roses” is vital.

I agree with Wend. And I had a second account. I guess, I wasn’t careful enough and started using it for entering contests right away without making any friends first. They locked it and requested me to send them a copy of a government issued ID with my photo, full name and DOB!!! Who are they to request such information? When I win a contest (not big time, but still), I fill a form and not once I had such a request for the ID. That’s considering that the rules usually say they can request it. So what is Facebook to ask for my ID?! In protest I abandoned my real account as well, I can find the way to talk to my friends without it and that was all I used that account for.

I have been asked for ID for a contest
Bu facebook are within their rights to ask for it, it is meant to be for real accounts and usually people who sign up to pages etc without friends are spammers so they want to stop that

  6. alisa1 says:

Of cause they are within their rights! I just think that’s too much of a price for their services, FB is already IMHO is too powerful with all that personal information they have, so they lost me completely.

  7. Sandra5 says:

The John Frieda company always has the BEST samples and promotions! This Jergens Natural Glow sample is really great too, got one last year.

  8. Spoe says:

I agree with some of you. I will not do freebies thru Facebook as they want access to your personal info. What people do not understand is what power they have with all this info from everyone. There was a show on t.v. about this. NOT WORTH A SAMPLE!!!

  9. SLC says:

I use the regular Jergens Natural Glow and always wanted to try the 3 day formula so I am looking forward to trying this. It is a pretty good product, especially if you don’t want to have a crazy baked tan :p
