Too weak and coffee sits in the caraf too long since they don’t sell as many coffees as Tim Hortons.
McD’s coffee is very good, much better than Tim’s stale tasting coffee (I guess beacause Tim’s does not their beans, but instead use pre-packaged pre-ground coffee, insulting to any coffee drinker)

I feel sleepy after a cup of coffee from Tim, but a cup of coffee from McD will keep me perked up all day. Plus, is there any other deal better than McD coffee and muffin combo. It is the BEST!! Where else can you get a Oreo Chocolate Muffin for .10 cent 🙂
Thanks for the heads-up! When we lived in the States for a few years, was desperate to find anyone who sold decent coffee. McDonald’s it was and WOW. Why did we ever drink Tim’s????
Me again. Curiosity question. Most people I know who love Tims take their coffee with cream and sugar (sometimes lots of sugar). Often wonder if they really like the taste of coffee as Tims has a very unique flavour but not a real coffee flavour.
Good point Sue, All the hard core Tim drinkers I know prefer double-double (even triple-triple), doubt they even know what coffee should taste like…. Myself, I drink my coffee black (no sugar) and generally prefer espresso. I normally hate regular “drip” coffee (find them all weak). But McD’s is the exception, their coffee actually has flavour/aroma of real coffee.
McDonalds coffee blows Horton’s out of the water! It’s not even close. The only way I can drink Tim Horton’s coffee is to get a shot of espresso with it. Horton’s coffee is so tame and non-threatening even people who don’t like coffee can drink it – that says all you need to know about Timmy’s brew!
