Gymboree Spring Sale: Up To 50% Off Original Price Including Easter Styles

*Spring Sale valid in-store and online for a limited time only and on select merchandise. Does not include promo priced items (such as Spring Break Deals and Accessories Deals). At gymboree.com, prices reflect discount. In stores, discount will be taken at register.

I can’t tell you how much I love Gymboree. Their stuff is so adorable and when you watch the sales and promos, the prices are comparable to what you would pay at Walmart or Zellers. For example, this girls’ brown corduroy pants was orginally $29.75, now on sale for $8.99. I always seem to go overboard every time I go there though. Can’t resist the deals!

They dinged the crap out of me on my last order. Charged me the most ever for duties, for a 89 dollar order they made me pay 30. I was not impressed!

  2. Minou says:

    That’s Customs, though, not Gymboree.

It’s always good to have a big order of out of season stuff and to use a 20% coupon to help out with duty and shipping.

Lmao Minuou, Im a avid Gymboree shopper well over 25 orders under my belt. I know its customs. BUT we still have to pay them through DHL no matter what, so it all counts towards the cost. It was much better when they use to ship via USPS.

  4. Kerry says:

Customs is a tax charge (on on kids clothing 5%), depending on how Gymboree ships you will pay brokerage fees and these can be very costly – I don’t remember what companies charge what but if you find out who they ship through you can call and find out what your charge will be.

Unforunately DHL sucks and charges pst, gst, duty and heir $7 fee. A few weeks ago I got a cheque for an overcharge of 4 bucks from them, I almost fainted. I know it was because they were charging PST as well….

A lot of times I never even had to pay customs when they use to ship USPS. It just kinda sucks the deal right out of it since they deal with DHL now.

  6. Minou says:

Maybe we should write to them and ask them to ship USPS. They may think DHL is faster?

I too will never order online from Gymboree again. I can’t remember the charges on top of my order, but it really made all the deals not that great. Fortunately, I just received a “we miss you” email offering $25 off a $50 purchase, and its valid in store as well as online! I will be visiting a store, thank you very much!

  8. Sally says:

I atually did Minou, they told me something like their in contract with DHL now, even though I explained their crazy fees.

I love Gymboree SO much that I got a part-time job there. The best thing about it is that I get to shop the back room. Because I work at a small store there is so much left over from all the lines and I want until they go super cheap. I bought my son shorts for this summer for $2.90 when they had the FAB and extra 25% off at the same time! It was super awesome. I only buy online if I REALLY REALLY need/want a piece for a line that I can’t find in store.

I love Gymboree too, but do not like how much the duty cost. I ordered from their online store once and got everything on sale, but in the end it was more expensive and really not worth it. Thank goodness we have Gymboree store here in Halifax, NS now. No more having to ask my Mom in Ontario to get stuff for me.
