Pottery Barn Kids is recalling Avengers and Darth Vader Water Bottles. The grey paint on the metal portion of the water bottle can contain levels of lead in excess of legal standards.
This recall involves the Avengers and Darth Vader themed stainless steel water bottles. The Avengers bottle has images of Thor, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man. The Darth Vader bottle has an image of Darth Vader and the Death Star. The water bottles are grey and have a blue or black plastic top, a vacuum-valve stopper and are 13.75 centimetres tall by 6.87 centimetres in diameter. The bottom of the bottle has one of the following date codes imprinted on it: 12/2013, 8/2014, or 12/2014.
The recalled products were sold in Canada from June 2014 to September 2015.
