I hope they prepared themselves. remember what happened at walmart over the holidays. No one needs to die for 25c eggs.

  7. ed says:

I am so tempted to go down there for those deals on the eggs, bread, milk, etc. But damn I know how crowded it’s going to be. And I’m not sure if it’s worth it after everything is said and done.

  8. Bigal says:

Wow! Never see that kind of thing in Quebec.
    Lucky yous’
    Enjoy!!!
Think of us non Torontonians.Especially the ones here in the snow:(

  9. itsjustmebub says:

did you guys miss the part where it said they expect
    15,000 – 20,000 people?

    not a chance.

  10. nsangel says:

    exactly. that’s insane!

  11. stressedmuch says:

I’ll pay the extra money to avoid those crowds……

  12. ed says:

Also if you check their special flyer on this sale carefully, you’ll see that their specials on eggs, milk, bread are for the first 150 customers only… and it also said something about 1 PER FAMILY!! No way Jose!

  13. Sally says:

I think that a lot of people just will go to be a part of it! I wouldn’t dare go but I guess if you lived close and nothing important to do like wash your hair then it could be an adventure of sorts.

  14. Lisa says:

I just got back – I got a dozen eggs for $.25! Good Deal! If you look at the flyer, the eggs, milk, spaghetti and bread are only at certain times (ex you had to line up for the eggs and they started handing them out at 7pm). It surprisingly, wasn’t too busy and the line for the eggs went pretty quickly! I’m going back Saturday for the milk!

  15. Lana72 says:

by the time i drove there or took the go train it would cost the same as going around the corner,,,,

  16. willowsprite says:

    lol@Sally

  17. Denise says:

I live on Bathurst and one of my best friends dad’s is the manager @ Honest Ed’s I may go! I’m going to find out all the details first though.

  18. MARY says:

I really think that they should state the specials
better with the time that the eggs are .25.

I think it would be special to go down to get
that old time feeling as well. We live in such
a rush and expensive time that I believe this
will slow us down and remember the good old days and feel
    good about a good deal.

Do something different, it won’t kill you. It might
make you feel real good and down to earth.

  19. Jenny Mayhem says:
