I was a VIP member in 2013 and spent enough to qualify again for 2014…or so I thought. I called the when I noticed that I wasn’t getting my VIP points on my purchases as of Jan 1, and was told that you get VIP status only in the year you qualify. In other words, you have to spend $1200 in 2014 before you qualify for VIP status in 2014. Hope that makes sense.
