how is the quality of this? compareable to home outfitters brand?
Percale, which is a hard weave is usually 250. 400 is a great feeling weave, especially at this price. I bought a set queen from Costco for 40$ recently.

Emily, I think you might have to go to an IKEA store to get them.
Check winners too sometimes they have absolutely amazing sheets so cheap! I got some 500 thread count ones for 39, and they are the most luxurious soft sheets I’ve ever had.
Thickness also count because at flea markets they sell 1000 thread count for 39 but they are sooooo thin.

And Sally you are right about the thickness, I got some “great” Egyptian cotton sheets from Home Sense or Winners (can’t remember which one) and they were 600 thread count $30 for a double. HOWEVER, they crapped out on me within the first 6 months of owning them; The elastic band broke on the fitted bed sheet so it doesn’t stay tucked in and they are somehow discoloured even though I wash them separately and without bleach (ie. exactly how the label says to wash them).

To someone who’s purchased them. Could you please tell me if they are made of single or two ply yarn? Single would make them true 400 thread count, two ply would make them only 200 thread count. THANKS in advance if your able to reply.
