Have you put your Christmas tree up yet? Maybe you still need to buy one?

IKEA has balsam firs on for only $20, I assume these are the real trees and not the plastic variety. They have this deal on every year. Also, when you buy a tree you can get a coupon for $20 off $75 purchase to be used between Jan 5 – Feb 28, 2010. IKEA is also donating a portion of the tree sales to Tree Canada.

We got this deal two years ago: the tree is real, and very nice. I went at store opening time the day they deal started so as to get the best pick of the trees.

Fritz ~ any idea when this sale starts/started?

  3. Fritz says:

Justine-I’m in the GTA and I got the flyer from IKEA today. The front says the sale runs November 30 through December 13. The back, in the section where the tree offer is listed, says “On sale now. While supplies last.”

If you go to this link http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_CA/tro/christmas_trees.html
You can look at the stock levels of trees at your local store…

  5. Parakiss says:

    How big is the tree?

  6. Hannonguy says:

Yeah…’ curious to know if they have 8-9 ft. trees….

  7. Karen says:

I’ve bought my tree from Ikea for the past 4 or more years and the quality is phenomenal even compared to the pricier ones from other tree lots in the city (Calgary).

  8. Alejandra says:

Great website…and cool article man…thanx for the great post…keep on posting such article…

  9. Jalapenos contain far more vitamin C than a complete orange. Anybody who’s eaten hot peppers knows that they also clear nasal passages and lung congestion, and cleanse through perspiration!

We’ve bought these fine balsam firs for the last few years, except last, when I bought a pricy evergreen naturally frosted tree. Knowing where do most of the trees come from and where do most of the money goes back to, I’d rather support this tree fund initiative all over again.

  11. shucks! I was hoping to find a great last minute deal on a christmas tree for 2011. Do you know you if they’ve got deals this year too?
