I love fresh Christmas trees ! We get one every year, but usually a bit later, like the first week or two in December so that it stays fresh and green (and the needles don’t start falling off hehe) until Christmas. Wonder how long the promo lasts ?
It lasts while supply last. Ikea runs this promo every year. In the early December they usually still have them in stock.
We’ve bought these fine balsam firs every year, except last, when I bought a pricey evergreen naturally frosted tree. Knowing where do these trees come from and where most of the money goes to, I’d rather support initiatives like Tree Canada. Thanks, IKEA.
I picked up an Ikea tree last week. I was expecting for the price (and given the Ikea aesthetic) a bit of a Charlie Brown tree, but I’ve never had such a fat, full Christmas tree. Given that the tree is beautiful, the cost is half what a tree is elsewhere, plus the coupon, plus supporting tree canada well, I don’t see how far wrong you can go. The only downside is that they don’t cut off the bottom for you but, quite frankly, its not worth paying an extra $20 for a tree someplace that does that when I can do it myself!
