They must be accompanied by an adult. If a homeless child is wandering around without an adult then they won’t get the food 🙁 sad.

Well, a homeless child could just sidle up to a single paying adult! 😀 Then again, I haven’t seen too many homeless kids wandering around any of the Ikea stores that I’ve visited…
If a homeless child is wandering around by himself, I hope social services would become involved.
Imagine a big group of 11 or 12-year-old boys hearing about this deal and going to IKEA by themselves! Depending on the kids, that could be mayhem!
Imagine someone taking kids there for a birthday party!
I can understand why rules like this would be in place, though I imagine that a manager would be able to exercise some discretion when it came to a very hungry kid wandering in and asking for a bowl of meatballs!

everytime i goto the ikea restaurant i always order for me and my kid, even though he is out of view–with his mom getting a good seat– i never get asked ‘where is your child?’….so its probably ok to order for 2 children…

Yea I would imagine it is ok if you bring more than one child. If not it would be wierd for Ikea to think every family has only one child :S
