It’s actually very delicious. I buy the frozen bag from the store and make them at home often.
I would say they may not look so good in picture but they are really delicious. We used to visit Ikea just for food!!
Ikea has the most delicious meatballs ever…I always have these when I go there..yummy!
The Swedish meatballs with gravy and lingonberries is the best thing Ikea has to offer food wise… And it is delish!! Wish I were going some time soon. I get them every time I go.

when did they start serving this with mashed??? It used to be boiled potatoes. REAL potatoes. I have a feeling the mashed are made from powder:( EW
At Montreal location they don’t serve boiled potatoes anymore more then a year from now.
Unless they change their mind one more time.
I work at the burlington store.. they stopped serving the boiled over a year ago. switched to mashed. they are real potato. Not the powder.
This is a huge sale.. we sell on average between 500-700 plates between the 5-8pm time frame. If your going to go get these..be there early.
Im not saying I wouldnt eat it, Im saying the picture isn’t becoming of them lol 🙂
i used to work in the restaurant in the burlington store too:)I always got fries so I never noticed the switch.
Love the meatballs and lingonberry sauce but really wish the small whole potatoes were back on the menu instead of the mashed. Anyone know why they made the change to mashed ?
