why never quebec there are people to in quebec who love international delight
Well, Quebec wanted to be a separate “country”…some countries are not included in all sweepstakes/contests/freebies. I lived in Montreal for 18 years, I would NEVER move back. Although Quebec has some beautiful places, the atmosphere/tension in the province is more than I care to handle. I grew up English in a French-speaking city. Although I took French in school, I learned most of the language through my then-husband and his family. The French people I ran into in Boutiques and just living downtown were extremely rude and ignorant. It is quite obvious that most people I spoke to, ie. asking a question/directions in English receiving the correct answer/directions in French. Clearly the person I spoke to understood the English language, alot of them just refused to speak it. I thought this brought more harm than good to a city that was under fire for the French language, Parti Quebecois and Rene Levesque. Dear Montreal, I don’t miss you as I’m sure you don’t miss me!
It is less about them wanting to be a separate country and more to do with their gambling laws which are strict
