  2. deallady says:

This is in-store promotion. You can use the $1 off any Johnson’s product as well to make the deal even more sweeter!!!

  3. deallady says:

The in-store promotion can be combined with the $1 off coupon from Johnson’s [save.ca or from Johnson’s itself]. You can take the print out if you wish with you as I was able to use it in the Walmart with the Johnson’s webpage print out and save.ca $1 off coupon for any Johnson’s product.

So you can use the printout to get this deal? I recently bought some body wash that had a free baby oil attached with it. I thought this was how they were doing it. Maybe I should go and try to get some more…

why are they still selling baby powder when every health professional has been educating for years about how much of a health hazard it is?

they should discontinue selling such a harmful product. this isn’t smelly england from 300 years ago when ppl didn’t bathe and had to mask their stench with perfumed powders!

    poor babies!

Jo Ann C. Rohyans, pediatrician and lecturer on pediatric health for Columbus Children’s Hospital and the Columbus Health Department, Ohio:

Baby powder may smell and feel good, but I don’t recommend it — and the American Academy of Pediatrics also recommends against it. Powder can cause breathing problems and serious lung damage when inhaled, and it’s not always easy to keep the powder out of the air where your baby might breathe it.

This is most worrisome with talc-based powders, which have small, easily inhaled particles. Cornstarch, which has larger, coarser particles, is not as easily inhaled as talc.

There’s no evidence that baby powder helps to prevent or treat diaper rash, either. The best preventive strategy is to clean and pat dry your baby’s bottom at each diaper change and then apply a thin layer of protective ointment or cream.

If you wish to use powder, choose the safer cornstarch-based product. Shake the powder into your hand, away from your baby, never directly on or near her. Keep the powder container well out of your baby’s reach at all times, too. You don’t want it to fall over and produce a cloud of powder for her to inhale.

These were on clearance at my local Wal-Mart for $2.00 each. The baby shampoo is great for cleaning make-up brushes.
