Shoot. I was around the area of our local Kiehl, but I didn’t see this or check my email. I’m sure they’ll be gone by tomorrow like they usually are…
I was actually in a free-standing store today and asked for a sample—without even knowing about the promotion—and the “lovely” sales associate said that they “don’t have any samples” and proceeded to squeeze a teeny tiny salt grain speck of eye cream on my hand….as my “sample” I suppose? I was highly annoyed to say the least
I’ve never had any issues about getting samples from there. Then again, I don’t just walk in and ask for them. I “peruse”, ask questions, maybe make a comment about the sign/promo posted outside the door re: samples and the associate is happy to oblige.
I did do the usual “peruse” and comment on the product….and she talked a little bit about how it was new etc etc and still: sample refusal.
I printed out the promotion though, so I’ll try my luck again this weekend.
Its not clear to me, do you need a coupon for this?
