Planning a trip soon? Makes things easier by customising your very own KLM CityGuide…for free! It’s basically a guide book, available for all major cities.
I just finished ordering mine for New York and the process was pretty simple. It was just a series of selecting preferences, drop down menus, and confirming your mailing address.

Update: I receive emails from KLM on 2 separate accounts, so I tried ordering another CityGuide. The second time ’round, the guide will be emailed within 48hrs!
This thing is a joke. Try looking up a city that you are familiar with (e.g. Toronto) and see what it recommends. Red Lobster? Really? lol.
Ray, it’s a completely free travel guide. How can you argue with that? Besides, if you lived in Toronto, why would you even bother getting a guide?
I ordered one for Vancouver. Yes, the suggested restauarants/attractions are probably only those who are advertising. However, it seems that it will plot the locations of specific restaurants/attractions if you know their names.
I’m intrigued to see what it looks like. Usually when I travel, I have a load of print outs from google maps etc. so this might be less bulky and more slick.
I was using Toronto as a gauge to determine the effectiveness of the program’s algorithm. It is a free guide, but I think most people are better off just googling travel guides.
