Do you have a Kobo e-reader or similar device that will support them? Well, if so, Kobo is celebrating their 20th anniversary – can you believe it – by offering 20% off select eBooks. Offer expires May 31st.
To take advantage of this deal, simply enter the promo code anniversary20 at checkout.
I realize that it’s off the KoboBooks.com website, but I selected a random book, entered the code, and it worked for me!
*Also June20off works too!
When I tried on that website, every book says “Due to publisher restrictions Promo codes are not allowed for this product”
First, thanks for sharing.
Second, I’m sure the promo is valid but I think someone is April Fooling you with the “20th Anniversary” line.

Founded in 2009 Kobo is owned by the Tokyo-based Rakuten, Japan’s largest eCommerce operator.
Even Rakuten isn’t that old
The company was founded in February 1997 as MDM, Inc. Rakuten Shopping Mall (楽天市場 Rakuten Ichiba?) started operations in May the same year. In June 1999 MDM, Inc. changed its name to Rakuten, Inc.
All the same, it would be nice if their 50th anniversary would come up as fast. 😉
ebooks werent even around 20 years ago. I do believe its an anniversary so their giving 20% off select books therefore the code name.
Worked for me and today is May 25, 2013, that’s two thousand and thirteen. 🙂
If anyone wants a good code thanks5_613 will save you 35% on eligible books. I have no idea when it expires but it is a one time use deal.
