It is rare that I will share a local deal, but with the number of stores participating, this may be worth the drive if you are in the area.  On Wednesday 25th May, Limeridge Mall has arranged a save the tax event that includes stores that rarely have no tax days including Shoppers Drug Mart, several jewelers and mobile phone stores plus many others.

Since they have to collect the tax, most stores will be offering a discount on your base purchase.  So you will still pay taxes on your purchase and will need to make sure you hit the spending total if using any Shoppers Drug Mart offers has I imagine it will reduce your pointable total.  If you have been waiting for an offer a big ticket item, you may be able to make your own sale during this event.
