Maggi Canada Recall: Maggi Noodles Possible Lead Content


lgoHealth Canada as recently issued a warning regarding Maggi Canada noddles. Recently Nestle has removed all Maggi Brand noodles from the marketplace in India due to the possibility that these products may contain lead. As of now the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has released a warning to consumers about these noodles. They are currently investigating the incident in India and if there is a possibility that the lead tainted products have affected Maggi noodles sold in Canada. As of now, no recall has been issued in Canada, but if you’ve currently got Maggi noddles in your home please refrain from eating them until the investigation is complete.

    I NEVER buy instant noodles and I picked up 2 packs of Maggi noodles for a recipie yesterday! Just my luck……

    I bought some Maggi chicken coating (in a bag in oven). I won’t be buying any Maggi products again. Never realized their products were made in India.
    Labels in Canada should show where a product and its ingredients are made/come from. They don’t.
