Woah, this is neat!
Calgary’s Longest Clothesline to hang on Stephen Avenue – October 13th
In order to celebrate the reinvention of Mark’s, Calgary’s largest clothesline will be erected on Stephen Avenue on October 13th at 12 p.m.
The very first Mark’s store opened in Calgary over 30 years ago, and in order to thank Calgarians for being so loyal to our brand, we are giving away some of our best products. The zigzagging, 150 ft. long clothesline will hold 350 of our Perfectly Pressed shirts, T-Max vests, Yoga vests and DH Soft/50 wash sweaters and more… all free for the taking!
WHO: Mark’s (formally known as Mark’s Work Wearhouse)
WHAT: 150 ft. Clothesline with 350 of Mark’s smart clothing items
WHERE: Stephen Ave. (between Centre St SW and 1 St SW)
WHEN: Thursday, October 13th at 12p.m.
A Mark’s spokesperson will be onsite for interviews, answering any questions you may have surrounding the rebranding and to discuss the NEW Mark’s!
omg that is going to be *crazy*! Good luck to all you Calgarians 🙂
I want to see pictures/videos of this! How do they give the stuff away? I am picturing people running and ripping stuff off the line, lol.
wow, I wish I could be there! I’ve never seen/heard of stores giving away clothes like that. Are people going to be allowed to just grab things themselves? Or would they be handed something I wonder. I am sure it will be controlled so people don’t just pull a whole bunch of clothes and take them, such as things that are not their size.
For those who will be going to this please let us know how it was!
That’s a interesting promo. I’ll have to google it to find out more…
I hope they know what they’re getting themselves into. It will be a madhouse!
