I just got word that McDonalds will have their Afterschool Snack Coupon Booklets available October 1st, 2009 so I am giving you all a heads up!
For only $1 you get 3 Free small cones, 3 Free baked pies, 3 Free apple dippers or 3 small fries, 3 Free apple juices or 3 Free milk jugs!
The expiry on these coupons is December 31st, 2011 so you have a long time to use them up!
These coupons are supposed to be for 12 years of age and under but I have never had any problem using them myself (and I am not 12 and under!). 😉

Hmmmm…they come out in October? I wonder if this will replace the coupon booklet, also for a dollar, that came out for Halloween last year? We made good use of those coupons!
sure sounds like it was meant to be a halloween promo, school started in sept. kinda late for that. but will take the deal nonetheless. is it avaible in all mcd’s across canada? or just participating ones? (like the timmy’s deal, i so missed out on)

Oh, if only we could stop marketing crap (sorry, I mean “fast food”) to children.
I mean really, it’s amazing that people can’t seem to figure out why we’ve got an obesity epidemic happening…
You buy them at McDonald’s, and I am sure most restaurants will sell them come October 1st.
As usual , everything in moderation. I am confident my active kids will not get obese eating apple slices, milk, and the odd small cone at McDonald’s. They can market all they want to my children, but
at the end of the day, I am the parent who decides where/what we eat, and I am the one who is teaching my kids to make good food choices.
It is a great deal for $1. Even if you only use one coupon you are ahead of the game!
