I looked for the whole store yesterday at the York Mills Center, Toronto and couldn’t find any available. Also wonder if their cashiers are all trained to refuse to scan Air miles Card if your purchase is paid for with a Free Price Coupon. Metro promised to reply back to me on their Facebook page a few months ago and then they failed to answer. Yes out of my pocket I paid zero but the store will get reimbursed by the company + handling fees so in the end they ‘SOLD’ the item and pocketed their $. My item is not really free calls insider couponers spent their time to collect coupons and research sales, locate the stores. There is NO FREE LUNCH we couponers just pay with our time and patience.
I was there yesterday and they had lots and took my airmiles card no problem. I also went last week for the free peaches, again no problem.
It just proves that the Metro at the York Mills Centre is just really cheap.
