Michaels is packing in the crafts for kid’s Christmas break by holding 3 FREE make-it take-it events this week. Monday the 19th they’ll be making Camille’s fun dough shapes. Wednesday 21st they’ll be stamping with Orion’s foam blocks. Lastly on Friday the 23rd you can make Oliver’s sand and glitter art. All of the classes run from 11 am to 1 pm, ages 3 and up, and while supplies last.
Christmas items are now 70% off and the flyer has lots of coupons (if you don’t get the flyer you can print the coupons here).
Actually you can’t shop around the store while they do the craft. You have to stay with them the whole time.
Most kids school age aren’t out for Christmas break until the Friday before so the 19 + 21 won’t work for my grandkids.
I will be watching a 5 year old (who is in Kindergarten every other day) and a 1 year old on that day – the 5 year old loves to do crafts! I wonder if they will mind if I bring the 1 year old with me? She’s really great and would just help her brother or sit with me…hmmm I might call ahead before! But onshopper is right – most kids are still in school!
Obviously geared toward pre-school aged children. Hardly fair to those that have kids that are slightly older that would be interested in this. Thanks for the tip though, I’ll make sure to stay far, far away from Michael’s during these times.
