Microsoft Canada announced a while back that they would be opening a store in the Toronto Eaton Centre on November 20th and would be offering up promotions on select products as well giving away freebies. Now, the details are out and if you’re willing to get up early and wait in line, you can score on some of the deals Microsoft will be giving away on their grand opening at the Eaton Centre.
For the one day only, Microsoft will be selling the Dell Venue 8 Pro (32GB) for $99, a tablet which normally retails for anywhere between $219-$299. There will be a limit of 1 per customer, and you will only be able to get this exclusive price at the Toronto Eaton Centre.
Microsoft will also be offering, for this one day only grand opening, the Xbox 360 (4GB) for the same discounted price of $99. Though the hard drive on this console is small, the discount of almost 50% (regularly, $179) is still a pretty sweet deal.
In addition to all these promotional offers going on for the grand opening of the Toronto Microsoft store, there will also be a complimentary ticket for the first 200 customers on November 20th to meet hockey legend Tie Domi, who will be the guest appearance at the Microsoft event that day at 6pm.
There are also freebies to be given away for the remaining first 500 customers, as each will receive a gift card with a surprise amount of Microsoft money loaded on it. The gift cards range in price from $10-$1,000, with more than 100 of those gift cards being loaded with more than $100 worth of money and two of them being loaded with the full $1,000.
Customers are allowed to start lining up at the Toronto Eaton Centre as early as Wednesday, November 19th at 10pm on level one beside the Gap. The doors for the event will open at 10:30am November 20th and if you choose to camp out overnight, remember that sleeping bags and tents are not permitted (chairs and blankets, however, are).
