This 11.6-in HD backlit laptop from Asus, the Asus EeeBook X205TA Signature Edition laptop, is currently available at the Microsoft Store Canada for just $199 for regular buyers, and just $179 for the education price. That being said, some of you may be able to pick the laptop up for the $179 education price – even if you’re not a student – as there has been murmurings that Microsoft doesn’t always ask for proof of enrolment (which is great news for us!)
Asus’s X205TA is a wonderfully slim laptop, that also has the technical specs to back it up. Just in case you were worried about well a 17.27mm thick laptop that only weighs 0.9kg will run, the Asus X205TA has up to 12-hours of battery life, with a 2GB memory. Plus, the laptop runs with an Intel Atom Z3735F processor that has 1.33 GHz with Intel Burst Technology up to 1.83 GHz.
