Asus is rolling out a competing laptop to the Dell XPS 13 Touchscreen Signature Edition Laptop, but with almost essentially the same technicals specs, the Asus Zenbook UX305 Signature Edition Laptop is being sold for a whopping $300 less than the Dell version on the Microsoft Store Canada. While the starting price for this laptop is $699, if you are shopping with the education pricing package you will only pay $629.10.

The Asus has more storage than the Dell XPS 13, as it has already installed with it 8GB of memory plus 256GB of SSD, while the Dell XPS 13 has half of that at just 4GB and 128GB SSD. The Asus is also extremely lightweight, measuring only 13.3 inches in HD display and weighing in at just 2.56 pounds.

There is no fan inside this model either, so it will perform extremely quietly with its Intel Core M-5Y10c processor and will still deliver extremely fast and efficient service, like that you’d come to expect from an i3 or i5 processor.
