When I set up an account for sites, I put the name of the site in the field of my name. So if I get spam mail addressed to that name, I know where it originated. I am so disappointed that Save.ca is selling our email registration information.
When I got my first spam from having an account with save.ca in May, and wrote save.ca, I got a generic response that had nothing to do with what I complained about. [note: on the settings of my account, there is a tick box that I do not have ticked that says you want more offers]
I now am getting spam daily addressed to the save.ca username. Once our information is sold, save.ca no longer has any influence over it, so BEWARE when you sign up for any sites that they have no accountability with what they do with your name/address, etc. …. PS There is no unsubscribe from save.ca, so I will change my profile to have a bogus email!
