Betty Crocker cake mixes are a part of the No Frills $1 sale for the second week running, and there is a coupon that you can use to stock up on these for 50 cents. Look for savings booklets at No Frills and Real Canadian Superstore, (and possibly other Loblaws banners) featuring coupons for General Mills items, including 50 cents off Betty Crocker Supermoist Cake Mixes. Use this coupon and stock up at 50 cents a box.

Don’t confuse this coupon with the similar coupon from the Walmart sheet, as that coupon is only valid on the more premium Betty Crocker products, and not this variety on sale for $1. I often make cakes from scratch but use the mixes as well. You can make a boxed mix taste like a bakery cake, by substituting the water for milk, adding 2-3 more eggs, and replacing the oil with double the amount of melted butter. So at this price, these boxed mixes can certainly come in handy.
