I’ve seen it at Old Navy in person and I have to say that the striped sweater coat looks way nicer on Old Navy’s website. The coat looks soft and smooth in the photo, but in reality the texture of the coat feels rough and hairy. Also there were noticeable small gaps or holes consistent throughout the coat as if it had been stretched. It sells for $49.50 or $49.95 CAD (regular price). It’s just not worth it, even with the coupon.
I would like to retract my last comment. I went inside a different Old Navy yesterday and inspected the striped sweater coat again. The texture IS soft and smooth. As for the holes I mentioned, they were only starting to appear in the shoulder areas. The holes are small enough to be negligible. The hangers used by Old Navy aren’t cushioned with foam so the sweater coats are being over-stretched in those areas.
Maybe the sweater coats in the first ON I visited are different from the ones I saw yesterday?
I’m assuming they have quite a few types for fall.
I only inspected the striped sweater coats in both ONs.
