Old Navy: Take an Extra 50% Off Clearance Items

Until Oct. 30, 2010, take an additional 50% off clearance items at Old Navy. I’m glad they extended this sale because I’m hoping that by the end of the month, cozy fall sweaters will be on clearance to make room for winter merchandise.  A really good find at the clearance section recently was a fall coat originally priced at $60, clearance-priced at $12, then $6 after the 50% markdown. Terrific!

is it working just in stores ?

  4. Colsgirl says:

Yes, just in stores and we don’t have one near here 🙁 but if you look online they have some great clearance deals. I have just bought lots of stuff for my boys a size bigger and it was $1.99 -$9.99 for various t-shirts and polo shirts. Get $50 or more and it is free shipping too. I got 14 items for $56 and that included 2 jerseys. I also got a tax rebate, as we have HST in BC I’m not sure why:

    1 x Boys Basketball-Graphic Tees Night Fever L $2.99
    2 x Boys Applique-Logo Jersey Te Walnut Creek L $8.99
    1 x Boys Motocross-Graphic Tees Turning Leaf L $2.99

Yea I was up there the other day ended up getting jeans for $5, a few nice sweaters for $3, T-shirts for $2! I had to hold back or I would have bought the WHOLE section! LOL waiting until next pay to go back and see what they have on sale!

  6. IRefuseToPayFullPrice says:

Colsgirl – The 7% tax rebate is because they’re children’s items, which only get taxed at 5%. So they first charged you the 12% HST, then took off the 7% which leaves the 5% tax of $2.80 (5% of $55.86). Hope this helps!

  10. Colsgirl says:

thanks for the info I didn’t realize we were only supposed to pay 5% on kids clothes. I must watch out for this I’m sure last time at Zellers I paid 12%

I went to square One yesterday and made out like a bandit! I did print the barker’s bones coupon which they said was not valid in combination with the %50 off deal : ( I found lots of tanks, tee shirts, yoga pants, and long sleeve tees for women plus a couple of hoodies. I found some good mens workout wear- dirt cheap. Good time to stock up for next summer on basics!

  13. sally says:

^they lied to you 🙁 That stinks!

I made out well at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo. Got bookbags to donate for 1.50, shoes for 1.50 for the boys. Shirts as low as 99 cents and some shorts for 2 bucks for both me and the boys.

They also had those “16$” coats on for 9 haha!

  14. Catherine says:

Really? SO I should have been able to use my coupon? IT does state on the coupon “not valid in combiniation with any other offer”.

  15. Sally says:

that means you cant use a receipt discount etc. If you couldn’t use it with sale items noone would ever be able to use the Barkers Bones coupons. Not many people buy all regular priced items. This discount is already applied, they dont do it at checkout.
