One Month Until Christmas Canada Have You Started Shopping Yet?

xxxxxx

Well it’s official ladies and gents, one month until Christmas. Yikes! Have you started Christmas shopping yet? Are you planning on taking advantage of some of these great Black Friday deals to start?   Don’t chase me off the blog but with 1007 blog posts under my belt I’ve been able to find and post so many deals that I’ve scored so many of these myself that  I’m pretty much done shopping.  Yes, I’m serious I am pretty much done shopping.  I just need to pick up odds and ends like stocking stuffers and such.

I look forward to reading your Christmas shopping schedule and how far along you are.  If you don’t celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays.

  3. Angelos170 says:

I’m almost done! I start shopping in september.

  5. Heroin says:

I’m about half-way done. My list of people to buy for keeps growing! Up to around 40 now. Darn big families.

  6. Amanda says:

I’m done! Although now that my son is two an a half – I keep buying more… last year it was easier to stop but now I always think of how excited he’ll be! lol…

Wrapped all the gifts tonight except for the kids stuff. My hubby wont let me do that so early – he is sort of anal about Christmas procedures.

  7. FatB says:

Haven’t started. Nobody has told me what they want yet 😛 LOL

  8. Corbinx says:

I’m not even halfway done…very behind this year compared to normal. My to-do lists are overwhelming and Christmas seemed to sneak up on me this year!

  9. Connie 106 says:

done in early Sept – just need to wrap

  10. Shannon says:

    I’m alllll done 🙂 I

I just need stocking sutffers for hubby and baby 🙂

  11. Paige says:

I’m done too! Just odd and ends like yourself!!!!!!!!!!! So proud of myself this year!

  12. Ashley says:

All done AND all wrapped! My goal every year is to have all my shopping done by December 1st. I had the craziness of shopping malls in December, so I try to avoid them altogether.

  13. boyzmom33 says:

I’m about half-way done, my goal this year is to do it all online and avoid the mall completely….lol…so far so good 🙂

  14. babygonnermann says:

I am done – I am usually done mid summer. I wrapped everything this year in September. I’ve even started picking up some cheap presents for next Christmas already. Pathetic, I know, but I always pick stuff up when it is SUPER cheap throughout the year. I really dislike going to malls and stores around Christmas time because people are just so rude at this time of the year.

  15. couponfreak says:

babygonnermann so true people are incredibly rude now I work in retail and no matter how nice and helpful you try to be you get dumped on like its your fault that there isn’t a factory in the backroom making whatever they want at whatever price they want it for!

  16. Andie says:

Pretty much done. (I have an excel spreadsheet this year to keep track of what i have for who (and hubby too) plus extras on hand etc. 🙂 (new job is much slower than old one.)

really, i need to pick up my brother’s gift (but know what it is) and find one more biggish thing for hubby and i’m done. And, everything I have is already wrapped!

  17. Heather says:

1 more to go, waiting for 2 deliveries, and i need to finish 2 stockings. I really try to avoid shopping in december! Good job on the spreadsheet, i think i may try that next year because i end up spoiling everyone cause i buy alot…lol

  18. Andie says:

The spreadsheet works great. Columms are Me and Hubby, rows are who we need to buy for (and hubby and mom both have December birthdays, great!). I grey out the cells that aren’t applicable for one of us. Type in ideas, what is ordered, etc in each cell and when that person is completed, i highlight the cell yellow with the word DONE! and a quick one word description of what they got. It’s so great to see the sheet slowly get more and more yellow-ed out.

plus my immediate family does a fun gift-exchange game (Yankee swap-esque) and everyone brings 3-4 items about $5-7 so i have a list of those as I grab them through the year (usually fun items on sale.)

  19. Melody Halls says:

I’m almost done. I just have to shop for the hubby. I started getting it all done early a couple of years ago, then when December comes I have lots of time to bake with my kids, do crafts, and just relax and enjoy the holidays. It’s also great not being broke at the end of December!

  20. Kristina says:

    Well I’m clearly CRAZY!
I love the malls around Christmas!
Decorations and everyone is carrying bags.
I started with the Hallmark outlet sale and I really start tomorrow with all the sales.
I hope to be done by Dec. 22nd. lol

  21. AmberLab says:

Done? I’ve hardly started! So UN-SCer of me.

  22. CaseysCoupons says:

I’ll join you on the “nearly done” side of the Christmas shopping spectrum. Just stocking stuffers left to go, and a few small items for ‘tips’ ( I usually make nuts n bolts or some baking )- the post office ladies, and the girls at the gym daycare. 🙂

  23. KC says:

Almost done, with a short list of what’s left to get. Thing is I don’t “start” shopping at any particular time of year – I just pick up stuff for people when I see something that makes me think of them specifically, especially if it’s something on sale (had a book for my bro since June). Usually if it makes me think of them, they’ll like it, and if it has to sit in my closet for months, so be it – it beats not getting it ’cause I’ve had too many times when I think I’ll remember to go back and get something closer to x-mas and when I do, it’s gone.

  24. Skippy says:

“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,
stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons.
It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags.
And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before.
What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store.
What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”

    There I’m set!

  25. kicklegs says:

Nope, haven’t started. I am going to have a conniption fit on 23 December when I realize I have to go out. I’m sure there will also be a blizzard and a bus stoppage. Mmm, holidays.
