That dudes nippples look hard as rocks.
any thoughts on this? it sounds tempting but id appreciate some feedback from someone whos had this done before. is 4 treatments enough? ive heard you need 10.
Wish this was in vancouver 🙁
I’ve had laser removal before and 4 treatments was definitely not enough for me! I ended up getting 7 but I could still use more! I absolutely love the results though and am considering doing my legs. I think the most important thing to consider is that this type of treatment may not be best for your skin/hair type. I think that anyone considering should go in for a consultation first.
You would need more than 4 to get the hair entirely cleared. Its usually very expensive- so I splurged whenever there was a deal on and, over the course of a year, had 3 treatments on my bikini area – which resulted in about a 50% reduction in the total amount of hair. So for me I’d say definitely worth it, as it makes grooming way easier, and the in-between times less repulsive 😉
But I would expect a hard sell from the clinic for more treatments at full price. Don’t cave. Take the $99 deal, but there are a ton of these deals out at the moment, so assuming the four are not enough, ignore the hard sell there and try a similar deal at another clinic to clear the rest. Or, at least, thats what I’m doing 🙂
IMO, places like this are a rip off. Yes, $49 is a bargain, but what are you really getting for it?
If you click the link, you’ll see the word ‘affordable’ mentioned twice on one page. This indicates to me that the equipment isn’t high quality. Its likely performed by a tech with minimal training. Often these places get you in at a low rate and promise results in just a few treatments, then sell you more at the full price. Because the equipment isn’t good enough to kill all the hair it often comes back when you stop treatment. It’s just an expensive wax job.
For the price, it may be worth trying, but don’t go in with high expectations. As Clare mentioned, skin/hair type is critical to success and you should get a consulation first to determine if you’re a good candidate for the procedure. Make sure to ask who will perform the treatment (its usually not the doctor you consult with) and their qualifications. Would you really trust an esthetician who took a one day workshop to use a laser on your face?
Looking at their price list, it looks really over priced. I had laser hair removal done by a doctor at a cosmetic surgery office for less. It was performed by a doctor certified in laser medicine. I recommended the same doctor to my friend who spent thousands of dollars elsewhere only to have it grow back when she stopped. She saw amazing results after two treatments and now does the occassional followup.
“Voucher expires October 19, 2011”
Sounds to me like you’d need all treatments done today, this afternoon, with booking an appointment… Which they may or may not have time for.
2011…not 2010
In this great scheme of things you actually secure an A with regard to hard work. Where exactly you confused me ended up being in the specifics. As it is said, details make or break the argument.. And that could not be much more accurate here. Having said that, allow me say to you exactly what did give good results. Your article (parts of it) is incredibly powerful and that is probably the reason why I am taking an effort in order to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, while I can certainly see the jumps in logic you make, I am not confident of exactly how you appear to unite the points that make the actual conclusion. For the moment I will, no doubt subscribe to your point however hope in the near future you actually link your facts better.
