If you’re travelling on Air Canada or WestJet then check out the revised baggage rules!

Air Canada is revising its checked baggage policy for customers who purchase an Economy Class ticket on or after August 21^st, 2018 for travel on or after October 5^th, 2018 within Canada, between Canada and the United States, and to and from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

• Basic and Standard Fares: Check one bag for $30 CAD/USD and a second bag for $50 CAD/USD, per direction.
• Flex and Comfort Fares: Check a first bag free and a second bag for $50 CAD/USD, per direction.

WestJet has also revised checked baggage policy for customers who purchase a ticket after August 24th for travel within Canada and August 28th, for all other destinations. The following table outlines the fees:
