Loblaws Ontario has a two day PC Optimum Flash Sale on No Name Large White Eggs 12pks. Today, January the 16th, and tomorrow, January the 17th, get 2,000 PC Optimum points for each 12pk of the eggs that you purchase.

According to the PC Express app, the cost of the eggs this week is $3.89, so with the $2 value of the 2,000 PC Optimum points your cost is now just $1.89. This offer is also valid at Indpendent  for the two days.

You an actually get them for even less by loading a PC Optimum offer to your account. If you click the link below you will find several loadable PC Optimum offer that are valid at Loblaws banners. One of these offers is for 50 cents off the purchase of No Name Large White Eggs 12pks. With the 50 cents off the cost comes down to $1.38. I’m not sure how many cartons the 50 cents off will apply to, but you are able to reload the offer once you’ve used it.

As I’m sure many of you have already noticed, Loblaws Canada and Loblaws banner stores have now done away with the 50% off stickers on expiring items, and are now offering just 30% off these items. Last day of sale items were typically reduced by 30-50%, but you will no longer be seeing 50% off.

I noticed this discount reduction prior to Christmas at Fortinos, another Loblaws banner. At Fortinos prices, reduced meat at 30% off is still higher than prices for fresh meat at other retailers when on sale, so I will no longer be purchasing their reduced meat at only 30% off. I will be stocking up more often when meat is a good sale price elsewhere. Loblaws claims that they will continue to offer deep discounts on expiring food through the Flashfood app, however, Fortinos is a a banner that is currently not on Flashfood.

You might have also noticed that the value of your personal PC Optimum offers have dropped. Most offers were for 20% back in points, for example, 200 points for every $1 spent on apples. This offer would now be for 100 points per dollar spent on apples, which is a mere 10%.

Costco Canada has now released the new weekly instant discount handouts! These handouts are available at all Costco Wholesale warehouses in Canada

Big changes are coming to the Toronto Eaton Centre in 2024, with some of the existing retailers either closing and some new ones opening.

Old Navy and Williams Sonoma will soon be closing, along with Guess. Starbucks will be moving and opening two new locations. Instead of the centre court kiosk location, there will soon be a store near the Queen Street entrance in between GEOX Respira and Jack & Jones, and the second location will be beside Lindt and across from DAVIDsTEA.

% Arabica will also be opening at the Eaton Centre Toronto, and the will be opening locations at Sherway Gardens and on Queen St. as well. The Eaton Centre location will be across from Adidas, and will replace Starbucks on the first floor atrium.

Another retailer on it’s way out is Old Navy. Old Navy will be closed by the end of the month and is set to be replaced with Winners.
