Do you know a Sephora employee or visit their stores often?  Now through October 28th is Sephora Employee Appreciation and they get 20% off codes to give out to friends.

Sadly, these are unique codes, so I cannot share the one I received from a friend, but if you search through social media, there are employees who will share a code if you give them your email address.  Codes are one time use and expire on October 28th.  They have no exclusions with the exception of gift cards but can only be used online.

It may take a while to get a code from them, the system can be slow and they have to enter each email into the system.  You do need to be a Beauty Insider to use the code, but that is the lowest level of their loyalty program and free to join.  They have just added many of the holiday collections, so a great time to buy at a discount!

Visit a Shoppers Drug Mart location on November 7th to take part in their annual Fall Beauty Gala event in support of Look Good Feel Better and The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Tickets typically cost $10 but include a $5 donation to support LGFB and CBCF depending on province.  Your ticket includes access to complementary makeovers by a Shoppers Beauty Advisor, skin consultations, a free goody bag (samples vary a lot by store and year) and refreshments – plus you usually get a coupon to help you save on products you buy during the gala.

Stores often have extra gifts with purchase plus prize draws every hour with multiple chances to win, and additional draws for larger gift baskets at the end of the day.  Makeovers and “extras” like the nail polish application vary by store, maybe check a few to find the one that suits you.  I like Shoppers Drug Mart makeovers because they do not pressure you to buy every product, just give you a list of the items they used so you can buy whenever.

Since this is a national event, their Optimum offer for the day is likely beauty themed.  Some stores do have very limited space and all have limited goodie bags so RSVP with your local store when they start advertising!  You may need to make an appointment for makeovers and any extras like the manicures my store typically offers.  Last year I bought my ticket about a week before and they gave me extra samples when I booked including a few full size products!
