Typically if I make a dollar store run I will head to Dollarama. However, this past weekend I went to a Dollar Tree instead, and came across a few great deals that hopefully some of you will also be able to find at your local Dollar Tree.
Firstly, at the front of the store near the entrance, there were several different varieties of branded bread, such as Dempsters Whole Grains Bread, SunMaid Raisin Bread, and others, all for $1.25 each. SunMaid Raisin bread can’t even be purchased for $1.25 with a sale and coupon, and the Dempsters bread, although it used to go on sale regularly for $2, has been closer to the $3 mark lately on sale! The bread was short dated, expiring in the next couple of days, so certainly not outdated. I often purchase marked down bread for the freezer anyhow, so made sure to stock up with a few loaves of each. The Dempsters Whole Grains bread even had 75 cent off peelie stickers on it which, although you cannot use at Dollar Tree, you can use later elsewhere.
The other notable items that I found were a variety of Kraft dressing for $1.25, including the vegetable varieties, and a few other such as Pesto Parmesan. The expiry dates were close to the end of the year, which is far enough in the future to stock up on a few as they are great for marinating plenty of items for the bbq.

Walmart Canada has a great deal in this week’s flyer. Head over to Walmart and you could purchase a 24 pack of Nestle Pure Life Natural Spring Water for just $1.88! Every drop of water in every bottle of Nestle Pure Life Purified Water goes through a multi-step process of filtration that involves reverse osmosis and then gets some added minerals for a great refreshing taste.
This is a pretty great deal, but some people may choose to pass up on it due to ethical concerns as Nestle is currently taking BC ground water for free while BC and other areas of Canada are on water restriction due to drought.
