I received a nice surprise the other morning when I was browsing through my e-mails to discover that Starbucks Canada will be offering a freebie for the winter rewards program, if you’re already a registered card member already that is. The rewards program, as the e-mail describes, will give you a free $4 eGift card when you buy 3 or more espresso drinks with your registered card between January 6th-January 12th.

$4 from Starbucks is enough to buy a couple of coffees, or one of those handcrafted espressos you would have purchased earlier to qualify for the card (as there is no restriction on what size the beverage has to be).

Your eGift card will be sent to you via e-mail by January 26th in which more directions pertaining to how the card can be used will be attached.

This offer may be an exclusive one that may only be available to certain card holders, but if you are a registered member of the Starbucks Reward program I’d suggest checking your e-mail just to be safe!

Sears Canada has been keeping their Boxing Week sale prices up for quite some time, but like everything else in life, all good things must come to an end, including Boxing Week sales. Chapters Indigo Canada is carrying over their giving spirit into the New Year with some amazing deals and discounts on both children’s toys and seasonal Christmas decor. In both sections, products are starting at 50% off their original price, and, in some specific instances, being discounted up to 78% off.

One of the better finds within this sale at Chapters, was on the KidKraft Deluxe Fire Rescue Set which is now just $90 (an almost 50% discount from the previous listing of $179.95). What’s even better about the KidKraft Fire Rescue set, apart from the extensive details included in the hand crafted wooden set, is that it is probably the lowest price available on the market right now. After checking Costco.ca, Amazon.ca, and a site called CoolToysforTots.ca, I was able to determine that Chapters Indigo was offering the lowest price by at least $20.
